The Thames WaterBlitz is a campaign to collect as many water samples as possible (in a short period of time) from across the Thames catchment. Blitz events are held throughout the year and create an invaluable snapshot of the health of our rivers that will help to direct future conservation efforts. Do I have to use the FreshWater Watch app?
The app helps simplify some parts of the sampling such as recording geolocation but volunteers are welcome to use a datasheet if they prefer.
