FreshWater Watch citizen scientists from across the globe have combined to create a video showing how much they love being part of the global project.
Citizen scientists from Asia, South America, North America, Europe and India have all contributed to make the fun video in which they demonstrate what they love about citizen science and show off some of their funky moves.
The video was premiered at the World Water Week conference in Stockholm where it was met with loud applause and crescendo of laughter – and when you see the footloose moves, it’s not hard to see why.
Earthwatch’s Senior Communications Manager, Malcolm Bradbrook, said: “Our citizen science leaders are an inspiration to us and I wanted to create something that showed why.
“The way these volunteers responded to my slightly odd request shows why we value them so highly. I love this video and have been practising some of the moves all week!”
