The next generation FreshWater Watch app has been launched and contains many new features.
The revamped app is now available to help our citizen scientists on Earthwatch’s flagship global citizen science programme with their water quality research.
Every time FreshWater Watchers upload tests they will receive instant scientific insight on the ecological status of the waterbody and access all records offline.
Freshwater news will be streamed live to the app, along with the most popular blogs written by Citizen Science Leaders (CSLs) and FreshWater Watchers.
Share with CSLs around the world
Citizen Science Leaders will be able to see water quality tests from the CSL team theytrained with, blog quickly and conveniently, chat on the forums and share new water test results with us on Twitter and acebook.
The new app is available in Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Spanish, English and French. Check your app store on your smart phone or tablet for updates, or if your smart phone or tablet automatically downloads updates then you can sit back and enjoy your new FreshWater Watch app.
To access all these features you will need to log back into the app once downloaded. If you need a password reminder.
