The Research - Spatial-temporal features of water quality in Huangpu River and its branches of Shanghai
Across the Huangpu River network of Shanghai, FreshWater Watchers collected data to increase the understanding of changes in water quality over time and in different locations. The project also examined the relationship between these changes and environmental factors such as land use, hydrology and weather.
The goal of the study was to increase the amount of information available about the Huangpu River network and to help understand the effectiveness of water quality improvement programmes previously implemented in the area.
This project ran from 2012 to 2016. Watch our Four years of success video.
