Notes:
The location is half mile downstream of a Sewage Treatment Works, it was a Chilly overcast day around 10 deg C. Upstream is agricultural land most recently growing Suger Beet which has been cropped and now has a large flock of sheep grazing on the tops and left over beet. directly adjacent the site are Horse paddocks. Foam was not seen at the immediate site but was visible 20 meters downstream when we went to remove a traffic cone. Also present were Keith Stevens and Clare Higson.
This site is also monitored by us for Anglers Riverfly Monitoring Initiative (ARMI) and as part of this Stone Loach and Minnow are often found in the samples including one taken today 19th February 2017
