Notes:
the stream into which the Thames Water STW outfalls runs down from Freeland and Long Hanborough from springs and land drains and in summer is almost dry. obviously below the STW there is a steady flow from the treated water from STW. However in year to March 2020 there were over 80 storm events and untreated effluent was released at this location for the equivalent of c 72 days in 12 months. so this site needs regular testing over the winter months.
