Citizen Observatory for local aquatic ecosystems monitoring

November 11th, 2016. We met at the town hall of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa to discuss the first results with our citizen scientists and explore new partnerships. Two more citizen scientists have joined since then, and the project is growing bigger involving nearby municipalities. We are very happy about that! 

Citizen Observatories for Anthropogenic Litter Dynamics and FreshWater Watch within EU project POSEIDOMM

On Monday, November 28th at the GEOMAR - Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research in Kiel, Germany, I gave a seminar within the seminar series "new topics in Marine Biogeochemistry" organized by the FB2 - Forschungsbereich 2 (Research Division), Marine Biogeochemistry. In my talk, I discussed about our POSEIDOMM Research Questions and introduced our activity within FreshWater Watch showing the first data (from June 2016) our citizen scientists have collected in the Arno catchement, in Italy.
